My Opponents

In the last election the Democratic Party representative was Libby Urban and I met her at a County Fair and talked to her briefly and basically said that if either of us win we both win. I also heard her speak at an event and she talked about her experience and what she felt qualified her to represent our district in Michigan. She mentioned how she was the first female head of the union in Detroit the auto union and talked about her experiences doing that. What she didn't talk about was the problems our country faces and what her solutions are for those problems. I will include in that the Middle East,  our budget, our trade deficit and our health system. I would have a whole lot more respect for her as a potential representative if she did discuss such matters. I am frustrated that many Americans don't research the positions of many of the candidates that they would elect. Indeed I ran into one woman who said she was voting for Walberg because he goes to the same church as her. 

My criticism of Tim Walberg and the Republican Party is going to be quite lengthy really and I will have to add to this in multiple occasions. He clearly does not understand the Middle East problem as Jews continue to die and he does not understand that there needs to be a two-state solution. Indeed, he was quoted as saying that we ought to just nuke Gaza. I'm afraid I cannot support someone representing me in Washington who feels that way. There must be a two-state solution it's just that simple. What has happened in the last year that Trump has run the Republican Party into the ground is that Walberg has supported anything that Trump does and has not voted against anything that Trump wants. We as Americans have had to have enough of this. There must be independent thinkers here across Michigan and all across the United States and if I am elected that will happen.
